Every year in August we host a Vacation Bible School. VBS is Monday through Friday for 2 hours each evening. Children ages 3 through 6th grade enjoy Bible lessons, crafts, snacks, games and fun music. This is a jam packed week of exciting times together! Our annual Fall Festival is held in October. Newborns up through 6th graders enjoy games, snacks and the ever popular trunk-or-treating. Come dressed in your favorite non-offensive costume.
Each summer during the church's annual God & Country Car Show (early July) there is a special section available for children to play, eat and enjoy time with other children. A carnival style atmosphere with game stations, prizes, snowcones and crafts attract kids both young and old!
Each summer children go to camp to build friendships. The children (2nd through 6th grade) enjoy a great week of fun and exciting adventures and experience God in a unique atmosphere away from home. Camp is normally the first or second week in August.
Our annual Egg Hunt is held the Saturday before Easter. Thousands of candy filled plastic eggs are hid for 4 different ages groups. Donatated prizes are given out as children leave the egg hunt. You don't want to miss seeing our enormous egg hunt!
Fawn Grove
Twice a year we take a trip to Pylesville, MD where we fold clothes and pack boxes to send to those in need. This is a great way to introduce missions to our children.
Chuck E Cheese
Twice a year our preschoolers take a trip to Chuck E Cheese. $5 will get each person a drink, 2 slices of pizza and a cup of tokens.
Go Karts
Children 3rd through 6th grade race around in Go-Karts one time in the summer.
Bowling
Children of all ages join us for an hour of bowling in the summer and once over spring break. $5+ gets you a hotdog or slice of pizza, a drink, bowling shoes and an hour of unlimited bowling.
Each year in May pre-teens and teens grades 6 through 12 hang out for a night (7pm to 7am) of bowling, games, devotions and snacks. We are in and out of the church and very little sleeping happens! It is an amazing night with a great group of girls!
It's a zoo in our children's department!
